I am going to try to keep this short. Some of you have probably had the experiance of dealing with some pretty undesirable experiances on the internet. I am normally a pretty forgiving person, but if someone were to walk up to me and spit in my face, I would probably be pretty un-cool. Yet this is happening more and more on the internet. If someone writes to you and depicts to you that they like young children (pediphile); this may be a thing that would concern you to the point that you want to want to report this to the proper authorities. My local police department here in Savannah did not impress me. Which gives concern to me as to the nature of educational nature of police academys curriculum and the laws which govern where we live. Most of the individuals which worked for the department here, gave me great frustration as I tried to get them to understand a dilemma which I was unfortunate enough to bare the brunt of. I have searched for related materials, such as...http://920kvec.blogspot.com/2008/11/cyber-stalking.html
We are definately doing the right thing to organize a front to promote a sense of concern about the proliferation of social phenomena which we have no desire to have imposed upon us. In addition, there is no reason why there should not be a LAW which requires an IP address to be properly displayed on EACH email.
Thank you for your indulgence.
Thanks for sharing Louis. Society has sunken to unthinkable levels! The majority of society is forgiving and that is where we went wrong. By forgiving, we were actually allowing uncivilized behavior. Well, it is high time we not only curb, but put a stop to it! I agree with you, wholeheartedly, that legislation should be enacted wherein IP addresses are displayed on every email. Where we do start?
Federal legislation and state legislation laws are passed in somewhat the same fashion, as far as my understanding. We must impress upon our house and senate members for the districts that we all respectively live in to study which proposals which we may put before them in a unified effort. We comprise members from many states. We will come up with a form proposal. and distribute within our membership, to be further distributed to their representatives. And we must follow up, in order that they stay attuned, and cognizant of what it is that their respective constituancy (VOTERS) want to see enacted. We need many-many members to really get these legislators to reflect on what their priorities should be. Numbers count. As for right now, we just need to educate our citizens to the issuse which we choose to address, and more people will join our efforts to attack problems which we have issue with.
Thank you so much for your participation!
